MD AND ITS POSITION ON THE SHORTAGE OF SKILLED WORKERS
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND FURTHER EDUCATION ARE THE MAIN WAYS TO COMBAT THE SHORTAGE OF SKILLED WORKERS!
Only those who provide training can expect to be able to recruit skilled workers from the labour market! Our trainee quota is currently just under 12%. With the start of the coming training year 2024/2025, we will reach a rate of 20%.
However, we training companies need the support of parents and schools more than ever. Young people need to be taught creativity and independence.
This begins at home and must continue and be reflected at school. Companies should not have to go to schools to get young people interested in practical training. The enthusiasm for this must be sparked, encouraged and developed there.
This requires parents who can imagine that their children do not necessarily have to go to university and, above all, enough teachers for practical educational opportunities in schools as well as good and up-to-date equipment in educational institutions. Otherwise, we will not succeed in digitalization, the necessary transformation in companies and society and, above all, in mastering new technologies. Today's education has always been the cornerstone of tomorrow's innovation.To be able to challenge, you also have to encourage. Further and advanced training for our team not only strengthens us, but also allows us to react flexibly to constantly changing situations and makes us resilient as an organization for the challenges of the future. Our development policy is based on a qualification matrix tailored to our needs. Based on this, we recognize our deficits and consistently derive the need for support. This is also the basis for the fact that many of our long-serving employees have been able to take advantage of opportunities to qualify for new tasks within the company and then successfully complete them!
